Gather your supplies.
Choose a safe place to bathe your dog. Make sure the area is well-ventilated and has a non-slip surface.
Fill the bathtub or sink with warm water. The water should be no more than 3 inches deep.
Wet your dog with the spray bottle. Start at their head and work your way down to their tail.
Apply shampoo to your dog's fur. Work the shampoo into a lather, being careful to avoid their eyes and nose.
Rinse the shampoo off your dog's fur. Use the spray bottle to rinse away the shampoo.
Towel-dry your dog. Be sure to dry their ears and between their toes.
